I'm in the process of creating one, big (and I mean BIG) star map that will chronicle USS Hartington's journey as we adventure through the Gamma quadrant. We officially cut the first notch with this last mission and the discovery of the class "L" planet, and the Tal'Harton. I'll be dividing the map up into quadrants when we've explored more space and my husband will upload them in pieces (otherwise it would be HUGE). This is quite the undertaking, but I think it will help to give us all a nice visual of our travels as time goes on. It will take awhile before we've covered enough ground to fill out the first quadrant, but I'm looking forward to it. And hey! If I can manage to get a hold of a copy of Dreamweaver somehow (maybe when hell freezes over) I might even be able to make the maps interactive. But that's just speculation. _________________

Sounds very cool. Can't wait to get more meat on the mission. I have a pretty vivid imagination (if I do say so myself), but anything to tie to it is greatly enjoyed....
I wish to offer my services as research support. If there is any way I can help, maybe send links or find details and/or info, I'd love to do it.
All the best in your work. |

Ditto. I have a few books laying about that are great for creating random system/Planet/Civilization type info. Happy to lend a hand |

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the offer. but I'm not sure I'll be needing any extra hands as of yet. My husband has a lot of books with star maps, ect. and he has a very cohesive idea of how he wants it done. But its good to know where I can go for backup aid if I need it. Thanks again!
