Mr. Koester, I trust you are receiving this message. I asked you to the bridge for more than one reason. I want you to have access to the main computer and eyes on our visitor, Ambassador Rolen.

I need you to reconstruct his activities from the time he came onboard the Hartington. I want to know everything he has done, visited, or everyone he has talked to since his arrival. You may need help reconstructing that data. In that event, and since Lt. Calodan is not available, I authorize you to use an engineer. Either Cadet Walters or Mehvra-Kuplo. Both have proven competent, and it is likely Ambassador Rolen would be unaware of them. Whomever you use, they must understand discretion!

Furthermore, I want you to determine if "Rolen" has appeared in any database from the Alpha Quadrant or the Federation itself, and in what capacity.

I will not require this information until my return to the ship, and mission parameters are the priority here, but I would like you to begin this inquiry with dispatch. Report this request to NO ONE other than the engineer you may choose.

Koester fired a message back to Uvek: "I'll have one of the cadets look through his transmission logs and remind his escort to be especially vigilant. I will comply with the mission parameters."

Koester sent the message and then deleted both messages from his console.
