Taking a seat at the table, she had to adjust her posture accordingly for the dress she was wearing. Not used to wearing such a low neckline made her more aware of how she sat. Having taken seat during the middle of a hand, she flagged the waitress over.

"Can I get a shot of Cuervo 1800, and a rum and coke please?" She asked the woman who nodded with a smile.

Suddenly feeling at least a few eyes glance her way she looked around wondering if it was just her imagination.

"We'll just have to see about that one time, when we both don't have Bridge duty in the morning. Ever heard of an Earth drink called Tequilla?"

She had to stifle a laugh at the question. if only he knew... she thought to herself.

As she waited for her drinks to arrive, she turned her attention to the table and she took the time to study those around her, watching for tells, weaknesses and other such things as the hand played out.

Calodan quirked an eyebrow at the counselor. "Maybe we'll prepare a site-to-site transport for you too Counselor?" He motioned to the waitress "I'd much appreciate if you could bring me one of those shots as well."

letting her guard down finally, she laughed. A genuine laugh, it sounded light and almost musical and her smile went to her eyes.

"I highly doubt that Mr. Calodan, I grew up on Earth and spent many of my years dabbling in just how much I could imbibe before I became unable to function."

She looked him in the eyes. "Though if you'd like to test me, we could arrange a shoot out." she said and smiled to herself as memories of home and Earth flooded her.

"We'll have to do that sometime Counselor. You, myself, and Mr. Croft might have to explore those tolerances. I warn you though, I'm drinking for two."

Croft watched the counselor sit, and order her drink. Wow, that is quite the dress He sipped his scotch, suddenly thinking he should not be sitting across from the counselor, he was going to be way to distracted.

"It's good to see you with your hair down, Reahil'ea."

He smiled at her, doing his best to maintain I contact.

Calodan laughed to himself as he watched Croft try and keep his eyes on the straight and level. When he had written this program on the Hood, the clothing was a little more conservative. Over the years of its use, he had noticed that the women's dresses had gotten more and more revealing. He wondered how that had come about.

The River card came down as a Queen of Diamonds.

"Finally round of betting and then you'll have to turn and show your cards." Vince said to those still in the hand.

"I'm up to the challange. It would be nice to have someone try to give me a run for my money. Though I warn you not to underestimate me..." She said as the waitress set her drinks down

"Thank you" she said before she took the shot and set the empty glass back on her tray.

"It's good to see you with your hair down, Reahil'ea."

He smiled at her, doing his best to maintain I contact.

She couldn't help the smile that formed on her face and the slight reddening of her cheecks. It'd been a while since anyone had looked at her with such thoughts.

"Thank you Mr. Croft, and please, call me Rea" she said as her face took on its normal color again and her smile returned to one of simple pleasantries. She'd learned early on how to switch the emotions like a lamp turns on and off... it was a protective mechanism.

Croft smile grew bigger as she blushed.

"Rea it is, then." He finished his scotch, before he could even wave the waitress was there with another, he tipped her again and laughed.

"I love Vegas."

Qech tried not to smile, or to betray Calodan's unspoken strength in this matter. She knew damn well that, up against a Trill constitution, they'd be on the floor before he even felt a buzz. It's a card she'd played before herself, especially in one particular past life. She exchanged a look with Calodan, knowing perfectly well what he was doing, and leaned over to him.

"I won't say a thing..." She whispered.

She laughed. "I'll just sit back and enjoy the show. In the meantime, I'm rooting for the Home Team." She gestured to his Trill spots, and back to her own. "I have to admit, it's good to have a conspirator."

Calodan motioned to the cocktail waitress, who after the tips had kept flowing, had been hanging in the periphery of group around the poker table. "Miss.." he paused and read her nametag, "Tammy. I would greatly appreciate if you were to bring myself, the beautiful lady over there and the gentlemen across from her some shots of tequila and keep them coming. And anyone else who wants them, please provide them." He tipped her a chip worth $100, noticing her eyes widen. "Thank you miss."

The waitress quickly wandered off and he smiled at Rea and Croft. "First one to drop or stop?" He knocked back the rest of the saurian brandy he was drinking "That one is a freebie."

McTavish listened to the banter back and forth and his grin grew to epic proportions as the tequila was ordered. 1st duty rotation was going to be interesting tomorrow. McTavish sat back and sipped his warnog while waiting for the next hand.
