A rough description of what he looks like, so I can find a close enough match. Age is very important (how they look, age-wise. Some people look really young or older than they are. I'm turning 28 next week and teenagers still hit on me.) Don't forget to mention any particularly noticeable physical characteristics (birthmarks, scars, tattoos... but only if it's on the face or neck, otherwise it won't really matter).

Okay Azmay, so I got a little ahead of myself and started messing around in photoshop, just to see if I could do it.

This is what I came up with for the Loraby:

If you like it, I can make the avatar. If it needs changes, I kept an editable version.

Absolutely awesome!

Except that it looks more like an Lurwab (a member of the Ab-Loraben species) than a Loraby... (My third character, an assistant Counselor for the Guardian) is going to be a Lurwab, so keep the picture...

If you make the olfactory feathers a bit more 'feathery' (they are more complex, more similar to this...), it will be WONDERFUL!

Thanks a lot!

Ok, someone come up with another phrase than AWESOME! I'm getting tired of using it over and over, but that is just AWESOME!

These avatars make all the difference. It really adds a depth to the characters, and I use mine all the time to keep the spirit and integrity of the Uvek character alive.

Well done....

Thank you very much. Very Happy It's nice to know you're enjoying them. I've always preferred to have a visual reference for things, too. It makes it easier to picture it in your mind.

McTavish is 6' slim for his height, brown hair and eyes. clean shaven, no scars or visible tatoos. 25 probably looks a bit younger. Smiles every so often Very Happy hair is probably a fade or high and tight military cut

I'm speechless. Consider yourself truly gifted, Alaina. Words such as Awesome and Wonderful begin to sound devoid of meaning... Smile

If you don't mind, I'm going to take this picture and use it as Azmay's avatar...

Quite impressive, indeed.

Welcome Smile <--- (these smilies look like over-expectant puppies hoping to get a treat.)

I agree about the puppy thought. On another note, I took the pick of Uvek and magnified it. I was taken in by the detail, especially the slightly hidden tips of his ears and the color of his skin.

Classic. Thanks Alaina, they really add to the experience, as I've said before.

*wonders if he can change the title of the thread to Avatars for everyone, or maybe Alaina's corner, or maybe just artistic awesomeness?*

Wanders off...
