I spend WAY to much time in this darn chair trying to keep up with the posts! Given that I only get so many channels on TV, sometimes ya'll are my entertainment... and it's like watching five movies at the same time. I love it! somedays I just wanna bust out some popcorn and watch things unfold... perhaps someday, I'll write a story about all of us....
sorry, I'm exhausted and been running on sugar all day! Plus watching Halloween movies makes me all giddy! *does the happy monkey dance* I'm in a strange mood....... _________________

I think I actually did bust out the popcorn once. I don't recommend it. Makes your keyboard all schticky. _________________

sometimes things go wicked fast, and other times they seem to drag as real life intereferes. It seems a lot like a Stephen King novel....not the short ones like Dark Tower, the big burly ones like the Stand. LOL
But, I love it. And, I agree, popcorn kills your keyboard. Better try grapes and Pringles potato chips! MMMMMM _________________

Yeah, that's only sticky and salty, that won't hurt your keyboard at all...

You ought to try chat based sometime. It can scroll so fast you can't read what's happening. I love this way, because it's not a huge deal if you disappear for a day. although for the other people involved it can be a little irritating. _________________

I used to do a lot of chat based simming back on AOL in the late 90s early 00s. I loved it back then but I don't think I have the gamer stamina for it anymore. This is easy for me because I have the time to think out my reply. I tried to get back into chat based back in April or May, just before I formed Hartington... mostly to see if I could still do it. I didn't care for it. I guess times and tastes change. _________________

That is what put me off gaming online all together. I tried it once, then I went to World of Warcraft and frankly, one was way too fast and confusing, and the other just turned into a foul mouthed-flirt room with the one or two females that ever came on.
This is clean, sharp and focused, and like the captain, I need to put myself into character and think about how a Romulan (or now a hard human) would respond to a particluar situation. _________________

i gave up chat based programs years ago.... they got boring for me. Nothing ever really amounted to much and it took WAY to long to get a solid group of people together, get them all online at the same time... etc. I like forums cause everyone can go at the same pace, at seperate time zones.
anyways, like I said, other than my now extensive DVD collection, ya'll are some of the best entertainment... but you're right, sometimes it is a bit like a King novel... though I'd rather that than Jerry Springer! _________________

I think we are building something awesome. Sometimes I still get lost with the Stardates, but I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it. |

Honestly, Fabian, that is why I haven't answered your query on where Uvek is.....I just don't know! He might be in sickbay, but he might not.....Did you come onboard with the Guardian, or not?
I cannot figure out when you came on board, so I'm letting captain tell us..... _________________

If you are referring to Koa Tanay, my second character, I assumed e had arrived on the Guardian, but wasn't on duty on it (so she didn't 'transfer', and that's the reason I didn't send er to the Conference Room).
I guess that was not the right procedure to follow... |
