Captain Brennon blinks a few times as Commander Qech begins to administer first aid. His voice is a little too groggy for comfort as he tries to warn her off.

"I'm fine, see to the others..."

The reports from the other stations begin to come in and he does his best to take in all of the information. Power failure... mines...? The Jem'Hadar? Brennon's mind floats back to the war and a situation reminiscent to their current predicament.

"We need to get shields back online..."

He gently pushes his way past Qech to stand... loosing his balance and swiftly falls back onto his rear end.

Uvek looked to Lt. Calodan, who didn't look well.....something about a concussion. "Mr. Calodan, I need help rerouting emergency power!" His board was intermittent at best. "Without it, we have no defenses at all."

He reached into a compartment on the side of his tactical board, and withdrew a small emergency medkit. Grabbing a bandage, he dabbed his bloody nose, wincing the whole time. Cheek feels broken. No matter. Uvek was no stranger to emergencies, and he called on his training and experience to calm himself.

Ok, he thought, first thing is first. "Ensign, pull Mr. Phell by the turbolift, and try to get his breathing normalized." Uvek was worried, because he knew that without that breathing apparatus, Phell could well die. Next he focused his attention on pulling power off the non-essential science stations, and stabilizing his tactical readouts. Everything else depended on Operations.

"I'm fine, see to the others..."

Qech shakes her head as she looks over the Tricorder readings. The laceration on his head was deep, a little too deep for the dermal regenerator to be of more than a small amount of help. She was registering a severe concussion as well. She was about to speak when he stubbornly tried to stand, and fell back over before she could even rise to support him.

"No, you're not, Sir." She said simply. "I'm going to give you some inpendrezine for the head trauma, but that's only going to go so far. What you need is a fully-stocked sick bay."

He shook his ahead again, and it was clear to her that he was going to resist her to the last. She decided to use his disorientation against him for his own good, and aided him to stand just long enough to make him sit down in his chair.

As she administered the hypospray she called out to the second officer:

"Lieutenant Calodan! The Captain is injured! Are the turbo lifts functional?"

Calodan shook his head to try and clear the cobwebs. "Turbolifts...no..no lifts. Power is out across the ship." The bridge was swimming around him..he needed to do something, but couldn't figure out what. His head really hurt from hitting the console.

He heard a hiss and felt a slight pinch at his neck. A young ensign wearing blue was pressing a hypo to his neck. In a few seconds...the ringing and the cobwebs cleared.

"Mr. Calodan, I need help rerouting emergency power!"

He shook his head again and moved away from the Ensign who was now waving a tricorder. "Yes Lieutenant. Give me a second to try and route some emergency power around." He tapped some commands into his console, which promptly flickered and died. The crack in the corner was pretty serious.

After standing and using the back of his chair for balance, he walked across the bridge to an auxiliary engineering station that was still operational. He began entering commands to try and get emergency power routing to critical systems, using one hand to keep himself balanced. "Captain, I can't get power routed. The EPS conduit that went offline is shorting part of the power distribution network. Without repairs, we're dead in the water."

"Captain," McTavish stared at the Xo until he caught her attention. He had learned his lesson well, "if we have lost the engines we are sure to still be drifting. Initial tricorder scans show Science is down hard. Im powering down the consoles and helping route power to Tactical and Ops. However the drifting is an immediate issue. If we hit another anomly, anom." He couldnt make his mouth form the words.
"Need to see if we can launch the runabouts. The tractor beams should be able to stop the ships moving and their scans may find any danger."

"Ops. Can we use the shuttle crews to power up the shuttles and feed power to the ship. Route power around EPS?"
McTavish was finding it harder and harder to breath. "Medic?"

Seeing that Calodan had been taken care of (as well as he could) by another officer, Qech put a hand on the Captain's shoulder, making sure he was steady in the chair before rushing off to tend to Uvek's injuries. As she administered the hypospray and tried to get his bloody nose under control she yelled out the Calodan again.

"Mr. Calodan! Would you be able to solve the power problem if you had access to main Engineering? We may be able to get a team there through the jefferies tubes!"

As an extra courtesy to Lt. Uvek, she hurriedly wiped the blood off of his console with a clean cloth bandage. "They're not much help if you can't see them. At least we got the bloody nose under control."

"Medic?"

She heard McTavish's cry from across the room and, making quick sure that the Captain was stable, rushed off to see to him.

Uvek looked at the situation. Something drastic was needed here. He moved from the tactical board, and helped stabilize Calodan, while looking at the Captain. "Sir, I agree with the Commander." He was impressed with her activity and grateful for her help. "We need to send someone down to Engineering as well as sickbay."

"I recommend we stabilize our remaining crewmen here, and send our medical officer. He seems to have suffered the least damage. In Commander Qech's current condition, she is in no shape to make that journey. Lt. Calodan is too important to our activities here and, with Ensign Phell down, I cannot abandon Tactical."

Calodan was feeling woozy. He gripped the console tight.

"Maybe Commander. I would have to ascertain how bad the damage was. I am sure that Lt Ghan is working hard to clean it up, but without internal sensors or comms, I can't be sure."

He punched a few commands and the jeffries tube by the starboard turbolift opened up. "I can head to Engineering and try to bring systems back online sir."

The Captain's head lolled around for a moment, his eyes glazing over as he tried to focus on the world around him. So dizzy... he thought have to fight it...

"Re-route... 'mergency pow... gotta get..."

His words became muddled as consciousness faded from the Captain of the Hartington...

As Lieutenant Calodan opened the access port for the Jefferies Tube he heard the distinctive grunting of Lieutenant Ghan as he made his way down the tube towards the Bridge.

"This is what we get," the grumpy engineer called out from down the dark shaft, "when we allow children to fly Starships!"

He burst out onto the Bridge, looking around and surveying the damage. His eyes fell to the Captain and narrowed sadly.

"Commander Qech," he started after realizing the Captain was out for the count, "We have a problem..."

McTavish could see Commander Qech heading his way. "Cant move left arm anymore and hard to breath, XO. Has anyone checked LT Croft?"

With the appearance of Lt. Ghan one problem was "solved", but another presented itself. Uvek moved down to help Commander Qech lay the captain down. He looked her in the eyes for a moment and a mixture of concern, gratitude, and anger flashed through his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Commander, I cannot understand how sensors didn't detect the anomaly." He shook his head. "You work with Lt. Ghan. I'll help stabilize the bridge crew and work to get tactical back online." He realized that no one had asked how she was. And in her condition that was a serious issue.

"Is everything all right with you, Commander?" he asked, as Lt. Ghan made his way across the dimly lit bridge.

(OOC: I keep editing this to keep up with the action...sorry)

"Cant move left arm anymore and hard to breath, XO. Has anyone checked LT Croft?"

Qech administered a hypospray to help him with the pain, and his trouble breathing. "Lay still, Ensign. I'll have someone check on Croft."

Qech had just finished seeing to McTavish, and had the officer who had sought to Calodan check on Croft, when she heard the Captain's groaning. When she approached him she knew he was in no shape to take command. She was thankful when Uvek came to aid her in setting him down.He needs Sickbay...

Hearing the gruff voice of Lt. Ghan, she looked up to see him emerge from the jefferies tube. She was aware of Uvek's question, but didn't have time to answer before the tellerite barked out:

"Commander Qech, We have a problem..."

She stood, and took a deep breath. "Report, Lieutenant."

Calodan was still trying to type commands into the Auxiliary Engineering station as Uvek held him upright. He finally managed to route around some damage and got internal sensors back online, if only to highlight Lt. Ghan's problem. The MSD light up with several dozen red lights, signifying significant problems with ship's systems.

"Oh boy...that is a problem." He said.

"Runabouts?" McTavish was sitting with his back to a console, looking around with a semi-detached look on his face.
