Uvek nodded, grateful to be doing something. He turned to Mr. Koester.
"Care to accompany me, Mr. Koester? I may need a second pair of eyes." _________________

Koester nodded, "Yes sir."
His TR-116 was still slung over his back as he headed with Uvek. |

(OOC: Koester has been ordered to take the Columbia and Professor Kolar to the trading station with Ensign McTavish)
Sickbay
Lieutenant Ghan
Ghan looks to the Ensign hands him a PADD with instructions on it -- what to get and what we have to trade.
"We keep precious metals just for such an occasion, not to mention other commodities we have aboard the ship... use your imagination, Ensign... just don't trade away my second stomach!"
Corridor outside of Sickbay
Ambassador Rolen
Rolen followed Qech out of the room, ignoring her plea to meet her in the Shuttlebay. He rather enjoyed this, despite the somewhat... rocky start they had several months prior. Oh this will be a delightfully entertaining voyage he thought to himself happily.
"So tell me, Commander, what is it you'll be bringing along with us?" _________________

"So tell me, Commander, what is it you'll be bringing along with us?"
Qech sighed, resigning herself to the fact that he wasn't going to go away.
"My tricorder, for one."
And a gag for another... _________________

The McTavish grin was back in place. "Ill do my best, Sir! But if your first or second stomach make it a deal breaker...I can't promise anything."
McTavish turned to see Uvek and Koester talking near the door.
"Professor? Mr Koester? Please meet me in the Shuttlebay in 15 minutes. Be ready for an extended trip."
McTavish headed toward the door.
(OOC Ill be moving this to secondary storylines or would a new thread in Main be better?/OOC) _________________

Calodan nodded at the Captain's orders.
"Lt Croft, meet me in the shuttlebay in 10 minutes. Lt. Ghan, if you could assign a member of your Engineering team who is nonvital to your repair efforts to assist efforts on the planet and have them meet us in the shuttlebay, I'd appreciate it." Calodan paused to take a breath and turned to Lt. Uvek. "We could use a good security officer if you can spare one. Perhaps Ensign Tanay could assist me?"
After requesting his personnel, he left and headed to Cargo Bay 2. There, he began the process of collecting the gear that would be needed to mine any dilithium from the planet's surface. He marked them with tags so that the runabout's transporters could easily locate them and beam the gear aboard. _________________

USS Hartington Sick bay
LT Xavier Croft
Croft smiled at Calodan.
"Yes sir." He left sickbay, heading for his quarters. Once he arrived, he quickly changed into a clean intact uniform, grabbed a phaser and tricorder and headed for the shuttlebay. Better get the Willamette warmed up _________________
