Chris, you know my answer.

Thumbs up all the way!

I am currently running a Changeling: the Dreaming game and am doing some prep work for a Mage: the Ascension game set in the Wild West. I started out with classic dungeoneering in AD&D back in Middle School (+10 years ago) and moved on to the original World of Darkness. I never bothered with the new World of Darkness.

Oh I love the D10 tabletop games. There's nothing like being able to play out your character right down to the hand gestures they're making. Online games are nice, but I think they lack something when compared to the "old fashioned way".

I completely agree, theres something a little more personal about everyone sitting around a table, seeing the expressions.

play by email has its distinct advantages as well, but I reserve a special spot in my heart for the table tops

Hi guys,

I'm sorry, but I played D&D, Champions, Starfleet Battles, Top Secret for many years through the 70's and 80's, even into the early 90's. As much as I enjoyed them I know how time intensive they are now. I cannot in the life I lead even think about them.

Would I play again? Maybe, but I just could never commit to finishing it.

I see this as an opportunity to spend less time getting more out and still get the job done right here, in my apartment, connected to my tenants.

I really can't wait to see where we are headed next.

I currently play in the Captain's Changeling game. On top of that I run a Mage the Awakening game one night a week in a high fantasy setting.

I've been involved in table top/dice RPGs since my first chance to join an AD&D 2.0 game at World Con(http://www.worldcon.org/) in 1992. Since then I've been willing to try anything that my friends have invited me to, or that I've ran into in the gaming room when I've been at a convention. This has let me try a few uncommon systems that never caught on, though I haven't played all of the major ones either, oddly enough.

I currently trying to build my collection of the D&D 4E. I've got almost everything under the sun for 3rd/3.5
my next purchase is gonna be the 4E core rulebook pack (PHB, DMG, MM). and I'm starting to get a group together to run a forgotten realms campaign once I feel I have enough of a grasp on the new rules/systems.

D&D has been my number one ever since I found an old AD&D softcover players guide by Gygax. I really like White Wolfs d10 system as well, but I don't think I have what it takes to run a prolonged campaign...

I remember my last weekend in 1983, before going into the Air Force. I played D&D with 5 of my best friends from Friday nite to Monay morning. I have a photo of us all posing with my mother the day it all ended. WE LOOK TIRED. I took them through a dungeon owned by a vampire who wanted us to remove a deathknight.....kinda basic stuff, but we were trying to hit some new characters and whatnot. Don't really think I remember much else about it, except we stayed in a tent and we literally only stopped to go to the bathroom and eat. hahaha

(P.S. I was stationed at a SAC base that had B52's on standby 24hours, I was part of the team that maintained personnel and equipment records, so that's why I put the bomb on the andorians at night to power up in the morning)....
