I am a child of the 90s, and early 00s, and as such got to see some of the greatest scifi tv ever to show over the airwaves on tv. Just curious as to how many of you recognize any of the following lesser-known series:

    Seaquest DSV
    Space Above and Beyond
    Earth 2
    Sliders

Sliders was one of my favorite shows! Earth2 didn't get enough time out, but it was fun none the less. I found SeaQuest to be pretty much Star Trek underwater to be honest.

How about the revived Doctor Who series on BBC or it's spin-offs. I was obsessed with both Doctor Who and Torchwood for a few years there... but I'm against change and don't want to see another new Doctor this soon (David Tennant is so much fun) and the Children of Earth mini-series for Torchwood kills yet another character... so I think I may have to stop watching.

Hmm... what else... Stargate anyone?

are both good shows....I am enjoying them immensely.

I also very much enjoyed Red Dwarf. very funny tv.
also liked Sliders for a bit, then it kinda started going in circles.

I am enjoying BBC's Primeval, not too bad, but it is getting alot like Stargate (though that was another pretty good one for a while).

I loved Stargate from episode one up until the very end..and beyond with the two direct-to-dvd movies they gave us. It was another great mythos that I am glad to see is expanding. I expect it will live on, similar to Star Trek.

Dr. Who is absolutely classic. My first Doctor was Christopher Eccleston! You never forget your first Doctor.

I've never seen Red Dwarf but my girlfriend loves it. She keeps trying to get me to watch it..but I've never gotten there.

And Sliders was great...until about halfway through the 4th season. If you stop watching there...before Jerry O'Connell decided to be a mega-douche and quit all of the sudden...it was a good series.

I know this is a reach, but I remember Giant Robot. That little japanese kid would get in the best fixes, and Giant Robot would do his little arm kata and fire his finger missles! Classic Japanese entertainment. I only regret he never fought Godzilla!

Babylon 5. (See also: Epic Story Arc) Hands-down one of the best I've ever seen.

Space: Above & Beyond was fun for the whole one-and-a-half seasons it ran. Show had surprisingly decent graphics!

SeaQuest was great; even if it jumped the shark (pun intended) once they started getting into aliens and time travel in the second season. ...although the season opener was amazing.

Never got into Sliders as much as I should have, but what little I watched was a lot of fun.

...oh, and watch Jericho. If you can go through all one-and-a-half seasons without the urge to buy a rifle and stockpile food, you're not getting into it!

Earth 2 and Space Above and Beyond. Awesome shows. Space Above and Beyond was created by a couple guys (James Wong I think& I can't remember the other guy) who wrote some of the best of the X-files episodes. I won't get into the X-files I loved that show tho...

Babylon 5 was sweet as well.

Anyone ever watch Dark Angel? The first season was pretty good, kinda went down hill from there.

ahh Dark Angel... I loved the second season, but not because of the show, because of who was ON the show.

Anyone remember MTV liquid television's Aeon Flux? One of my favorites...

and does anyone even remember the single season of VR5? I was so sad that it only made one season!

anybody remember Thunderbirds? or the show about the Grey six wheeled thing called "the Ark" a kinda post-apocolyptic thing?

Of course Babylon 5...ok show, not bad stuff for a bit. Could have been better.

I didn't think anyone else remember Alien Nation! that's so awesome...

Twilight zone... gods I have so many of those episodes memorized! My favorite is still Monsters are due on Maple Street....

Amazing Stories... I actually have a VHS of that! yes... a VHS!

still mad I never got to see the Ray Bradbury Theater... read so many of the stories, would have LOVED to see them!

How about Quantam Leap? I used to stay up till midnight to watch that and Twilight Zone on Scifi late night....

another show that was so under the radar very few people even remember it. ROAR. very Xena-ish and Heath Ledger's only TV show.

I still remember so clearly watching the premier of X-Files... that show was (and still is) amazing.

.... wow... I really am a geek. Very Happy I love it.
