HI ALL,
Just want to take a moment to thank everyone who has posted and showed enthusiasm for this new simm....GREAT WORK! I also welcome my wife aboard (as soon as she's accepted, that is)..
However, please remember some game-related things.
1) the station is only in initial refit stages.
2) it hasn't been officially designated yet (that's Admiral Croft or Captain Brennon's priviledge to divulge publically.
3) only the Guardian crew, captain Brennon, Admiral Croft and select members of the upcoming fleet know of its designation.
3) Anyone assigned to the station should be coming from the Alpha Quadrant, so no one in Gamma knows who is going to be assigned yet. Captain Brennon again has that priviledge, as fleet commander.
If you have any questions, please let either Captain Brennon, Captain Marek, or myself know in that order.
In the meantime, feel free to build up a backstory on your characters through the storyline section and standby.....
All the best,

Yup, Admiral Croft is the one Captain Marek discussed the station with. Based on the conversation, it seemed that Admiral Croft knew about the station, anticipated its discovery (or potential discovery) and is sending the fleet out to supply it. Therefore, if Captain Marek or Captain Brennon write it in, Croft can make command decisions, being the ranking officer of the story. Otherwise, of course, Brennon is fleet commander.
Hope that helps...M _________________

Admiral Croft is Xavier's father, and I have used him as the Starfleet Character that interacts with Marek from Starfleet Command. I am slowly laying seeds for a later story line. _________________

I'll have to start working up a fitting backstory given that one of my characters has been rather dormant lately. _________________

yea, it's too bad, because we do need a diplomatic officer on the Hartington, but really with Rolen (whom we haven't seen around lately) Zeara's kind of a third wheel.
However, that's a great reason to transfer her to the station. We'll be able to develop and guide her 'impression' skills and empathy a great deal and with Dana's character of language specialist and communications a great team can develop. _________________
