Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am Marks wife Dana. We have been working in Ohio with seniors in a H.U.D. building.

Mark reads these posts to me everyday and I feel like a part of the team all ready. I don't know much about star trek but I know we can work around that.

I hope we can have fun, and I like how you all do this....Sometimes I am not too good at typing so I'm going to have mark do some for me, but I'll do my best!

Lillian/dana

Welcome aboard Dana...

You'll learn more about Star Trek as the Sim progresses. By the way, hubby is one hell of a guy to work for, as I am one of his trusted Security Specialists...

It's a Danavasion! LOL....

Seriously though, you will find what I have already, Dana's a great sport and she has been watching a lot of ST TNG, DS9 and even enterprise, and it was her suggestion to watch Abram's little jaunt...so, good for her!

Don't worry about Zeara, we'll kick her into gear. The main idea will to alternate the storyline between all station action and ship/station action.

Given a good mix I don't think we can get bored. At times, we'll split the team off in secondary storylines the way Tom showed us could be done, and other times we'll keep the team in one place and roll with it. At any rate, the Myosians have about 4 main planets in the neighborhood, so I can see a lot of meat coming from the various races...not all Myosians need to get along, wink wink....

I know I said hi in the other thread, but I saw this one and had to give my welcomes here as well!

Mark: it's funny you should mention that about the Myosians. My original conception of them was kind of like the Xindi from Enterprise. that is to say that they evolved on one original homeworld and went out across the sector eventually evolving further on various worlds out there, making each Myosian race different in one way or another... the way they are turning out in tame is more like a sociological evolution rather than a physiological one however. Either suits me just fine however, so long as they get to see some action and everyone enjoys them!

GREAT! I've got a good split story developing. One that will push the new ship and the new station to the limits....

anyway,

looking forward to the station being a diplomatic center, and the Myosians playing a big role in all of it.

we'll see...

See you on the station..M

I see right after launch the Myosians jumping on the station as a new safer route for some of their trade goods, ie avoiding the Nekrali, even if it adds a couple weeks of travel time.

And once again, Welcome Lillian/Dana, I think I'll split the difference and call you EnsignLT hehehe
