I feel like a fool. In opening Ops to the Ju'Tau I put everyone at risk. If not for the quick work of Ted Smith and his security team, not to mention Lt. Zeara and her actions to revive the command staff, things could have ended much differently.

It just shows the need for us to be on our guard out here, and not expect every member of a race to have our interests at heart. The Myosians may well be allies, but it's the last time I take anything for granted. From now on all receptions will take place in the new assembly hall I've tasked the engineering staff to build. I still can't understand how the Ju'Tau knew about Archer, even with Dynara working with them. He didn't seem to have that level of clearance. Still, all's well that ends well, as my gram used to say, so I guess we've dodged the bullet.

No doubt I'll have to work a little harder to prove my leadership skills to the fleet, but I deserve that. This can't happen again.
