After the peg-legged First Mate spoke to her, Blackheart Annie made her way into the cabin.

She had to push her way past Greenblood and One-eyed Jack in order to do so.

"Whew, close quarters." She waved a hand past her nose. "I hope the Cap'n gets here quickly."

Greenblood looked at One-eyed with a mischevious smirk. "I think we have just been insulted matey." He said.

((OOC: sorry for the delay. I was distracted this weekend))

Captain Blackspots entered the Cabin and plopped down, in a very un-Qech-like manner, onto one of the carved wooden chairs. Her lack of grace was clearly deliberate as she threw herself into her role. "Alright ya scoundrels. I've called all of 'ye in here for a reason. While 'ye may be aware that this is a mission for gold, I assure you that's only the half of it... I have in my possession a genuine treasure map. Where it is and where it leads I won't be tellin' any of 'ya except at the proper times. There May be spies about on this ship and I'm takin' enough of a chance on you as it is. But I need some insiders if this voyage is goin' ta come out with any plunder."

She looked at all the intent and listening faces around the table. "Yer goin' to be my 'officers' as the English call 'em. So I want you to swear an oath to me right now. None of this leaves this room. Cross yer black hearts with yer hooks if you have to."

"You have my word of honor. I swear on Davy Jones' Locker," Blackheart Annie said solemnly. She raked her hook across her chest in a ragged cross. "I promise."

Croft watched Lioy's solemn promise, his smirk turning into a muffled laugh as she scratched herself. He turned to Qech, unable to totally remove the smile from his face.

"Aye, I swear on me dear mother's grave." his smile returned, and he winked at Lioy.

Qech blinked at Lioy, a crooked grin forming on her lips. "A literal interpretation was not entirely what I had in mind." She laughed, allowing herself to slip out of character for a moment. "Mr. Uvek I hope you have security on standby, because I believe our new counselor may be a danger to herself."

The First Mate scowled at Greenblood and then drew a wicked looking knife, testing the weight.

"Cap'n if I may be-beggin' yar pardin'... I dun trust that green scalawag nearly as far as I'd like. I seen him wit me own eye dippin' inta the stores when 'e thinks we're na lookin'."

His attention was fully upon Greenblood now, his voice full of anger. "So swear wha' ya' like, Greenblood... but I ain't lettin' ya outta me sight!"

The Captain laughed. "I don't trust 'im either, Davy, but I don't trust any of 'ya fer that matter. You'll do what you're asked or be keelhauled. Simple as that. So, it seems we have a tidy little agreement goin' lads... Wouldn't 'ya say?"
