Captain,

Perhaps I am mistaken, but at some point early in consideration for this post, I came across information that there was a Cardassian onboard. Is this a misconception on my part?

If there is a cardassian onboard, I wish to make a recommendation. I am going to quarter myself with the marine contingent for two weeks "orientation" time. During that period, I want MAA Koester and the Cardassian crewmember to share (jointly) my quarters. I would like this recommendation approved for purposes that may be readily apparent to you.

I will take full responsibility for the outcome, but I also see this as an opportunity to drive a point home, and perhaps change some thinking.
