Name: Andrew
Occupation: Tech support - Offically Titled "Second Shift NOC support specialist"
Location: Alexandria, VA, USA
Age: 22
I consider myself an enigma wrapped up in a mystery wrapped in deliciously flaky puff pastry! I've spent most of my life being "an adult". I officially entered the work force at 14 and have held several jobs ranging from janitor to pizza delivery guy, to math teacher, to Director of IT. I now work in a NOC in Alexandria providing tech support to customers that are mostly as dumb as a bag of hammers.
I have spent a lot of my life being "that computer guy" and fully 100% welcome any tech support inquiries anyone might have. I even run a small personal business doing so(herringtontech.com). I have my own website (dumpsterdivinggeek.com) and maintain a semblance of a blog (blog.dumpsterdivinggeek.com) and I exist on twitter (twitter.com/andrewthetechie).
Star Trek/scifi has been a love of mine for a long time. I cut my teeth on TNG, then grew up with VOY and DS9. I am proud to say, that I have basically every episode of the entire span of the show on my computer for reference material. Besides that, I do not openly give off that "Trekkie" vibe. No conventions or cosplay for me. I simmed for a couple years as a teenager, and have recently decided to take up the mantle again.
Anyways, the rambly, off the wall post is done. Anyone who has any questions about me or for me, feel free to ask.
Catch you all later

It's good to meet the crew behind the crew. My name is Mark, no actual pic of me yet, and I'll be playing the role of Uvek Suran.
While I know very little about the actual Romulan Star Empire, I figured little was known about the individuals, and I could use that gap to create a mythos all my own.
I work as an apartment manager here in Ohio, and I am a previous trekkie turned trekker. I love the show, the fact that many technologies follow the imagination of the idea, and I am a big Captain Jean Luc Picard fan.
I have about 12 pages of faves locked in, and will be looking forward to joining in.
See you in there,
Uvek |
