Captain's Log, Stardate 54132.5

The Hartington has entered a region of space known by the locals as the Julant Expanse. The Expanse is a vast nebula, over 100 Light Years in diameter, and offers us countless points of exploration. Due to the relatively light density of the nebular gases, the region has become home to a number of sentient, higher order species. With this in mind, I look forward to yet another exercise in First Contact.
