"Very well, I'll initiate the changes." He hesitates a second pondering the best choice of craft and brings up a new section on his panel. With a change to the anti-matter mixture, there is a slight but noticeable change in the sound of the warp drive. A frequency shift to the deflector, a re-route of the impulse engine power, and a modification to the shield emitters completes his changes and the Yeager should look like an Oberth-class scout ship.

Mehv creates a command to return his changes to peak efficiency settings and places it in easy reach. He doesn't want to enter battle with a handicap, however small.
