Character: Aynslie VanQuax
having spent her days aboard the Gaurdian doing basic security duty, she was happy to have the brief stint of off duty time. She'd been hoping for an away team mission, but knew that she'd have to build up her repore with this crew before anyone would let her join in the fun... something she intended to do every chance she could.
Until that time, she decided a little workout in the holodeck might be nice. Given that she wasn't one for chatting with people she wasn't familiar with, she'd kept mostly to herself, going about her duties with as much precision as she could. Oh how she wished she was a bit more sociable towards new people... she'd have loved a real being to combat against, not just a holographic one.
oh well, beggars can't be choosers.
Stepping into the holodeck she once again shook her head at the appearance of the idle room. such a strange sight she thought to herself upon seeing the graph like lines on the black background. Stepping up to the panel, she began to enter a new program into the console. It was one she had created back on Venus years ago, to better test her training and strength. It took her a span of four minutes to properly code the program, given that the last time she used it, it was not on a federation starship.
Smiling when the program was complete she stepped back, rolled her shoulders, cracked her neck and took a deep breath.
"Computer, run program" she said and instantly her clothes changed from her uniform to a black spandex full body cover. She would never admit to anyone that the clothing choice was stolen from tales she was told as a child by the earth children on her homeworld about ancient warriors known as 'ninja'... it was strange, she knew, but something about it intrigued her. The room transformed itself into a concrete building with a tiny slit as a window in the side wall, and wooded bars for rafters... it seemed an inescapable room.
She had programed the computer to learn and adapt as it 'game' ran, but she was a bit nervous given the complexity of this system. When the 15 armed men stormed into the room from an unlit corner, she couldn't help but smile.
"This is going to be fun..." she whispered to herself and lunged at them. _________________
