I have a few ideas for what we may want to do for our next sim, that is if we can get our hands on a few fresh players! Doc Newell tells me that he has a few friends that may want to join up soon which would be great. What I'd like to is to put forward the idea for discussion along with the current running favorites:
Dyson Two Research Base: A Dyson Sphere in the Gamma Quadrant has been discovered and the Starfleet Corps of Engineers has been sent to learn about it. Combined with Starfleet Security and Marine forces as well as some of the best scientific minds in Starfleet the team works to uncover the mysteries of the Sphere.
USS Hudson: TOS Era Sim based a few years after Captain Kirk fought with the Gorn in the episode Arena. The Constitution Class Hudson is on patrol along the Klingon-Federation-Gorn Frontier, laying the groundwork for the future of the Starfleet in this sector.
Unnamed NX Class Ship: Set during the Romulan War, this vessel is assigned to fight the faceless foes from deep in space. The Coalition of Planets works to safeguard the future of its fledgling alliance with Earth's Starfleet on the front lines.
Just give your opinion, I'm not looking to start this new Sim tomorrow, just looking for ideas and feeling out everyone's emotions regarding the idea. So let us know. _________________

If these do not take off, is there a chance at reaching for a new ship design? The Korolev or The Prometheus? We could experience an accident early into our shakedown and be transported to a MIRROR universe? Maybe another dimension.
That could be our own personal voyager. USS Discovery, USS Cochrane (I know it's been used, just like the name, LOL) USS Daytsrom, USS Vector, there's a million of them, I'm sure! Just a thought. _________________

The Dyson sphere could be very interesting, I have some ideas for it's background that would intersect with the Guardian's story arc. Might make a good location for the permanent Federation presence as well. _________________

I believe, though I might be mistaken, that the book "The Romulan Prize" is set in a Dyson sphere. Might make good research material. I have a copy here buried somewhere, will dig it out and take a look. _________________
