I was thinking about an old turnbased strategy game I like to play off and on. It's 16 bit and it's called Stars! the graphics are non-existent and the controls are minimalist windows 3.1 but it's addictive. I also like games like StarCraft and Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War. Anyone else like this genre? _________________

I'm a Ghost Recon/Brothers in Arms/Call of Duty man! Love the point and kill games, especially the Summit Strike series. Great graphics, great weapons, believeable and modern enemies, including Korean and Kazikstans.....
Love WW2 games and history, and Brothers in Arms really does it for me as well.
Anyway, that's my vote..... _________________

While never good against real players, I absolutely enjoyed Starcraft and Warcraft single players. The pace keeps you on your toes.
On the other hand I really enjoy planning out every little detail in Civ IV, which I feel is an excellent specimen of turn-based strategy even though it doesn't necessarily fall into the standard profile. _________________
