Well computer, this is it! This is my first off-world posting. I'm looking around at the rather austere settings and I must say, this could use a woman's touch. I hope I find one....(laughter). Anyway, I've been working on the NX class for a while, so I'm sure I have enough familiarity with the nav system not to make a complete fool of myself. We'll see.

My father must be dropping bricks about now. He never thought I'd get accepted into the program; kept pushing his VP slot at Cyberlite. Nah. I'm for this, the open road as it were. Don't know much about the new captain, don't know much about the crew. But I know this bird. It's lean but it should hold up well. Anyway, I guess that's not my problem. I just gotta get her where she's going.

Ok, computer, I'm heading up topside. Got to see what the command deck's got, and report in. Store it and mark this topic closed.
