Personal Log- Stardate 48759.3

I have been on Earth for the last four days enjoying the time spent with my human family. I have just received word from Starfleet that my commision activation has been set for an earlier date. I must leave this afternoon on a transport that will take me to my new post aboard the new Enterprise. I must admit that I am excited to see the familiar face of Deanna once again, but at the same time, I am saddened to leave my home. I had hoped to have a few more days with my family here on Earth, but I have been glad for at least the few days I was given. I am pleased to know that my baby sister will have something to remember me by. I am unsure if I will be given a chance to return home after her birth, but I know that mother will make sure she knows who I am.
