Weyland wiped the sweat from his brow with the back of his hand, then continued to perform CPR patient he was working on. The woman was the victim of a bomb that had been placed by some anti-alien crackpots that were targeting several Vulcan diplomats that were meeting in London. Alex leaned back so they could give another jolt of electricity to her heart. With a lurch, her body jumped slightly off the table, and the welcome beep of the cardio monitor told the story, she was going to live.

"Get her to surgery, now." Weyland exclaimed. He had enough time to change his gloves when a nurse yelled.

"Dr. Weyland, the Vulcan's here!" Weyland ran over to the gurney that was wheeled to spots over, for a brief moment taken a back by the green that was soaking the man's clothes. He did a quick scan to check his condition. The nurse across from him checked the Vulcan's heart rate, then gasped,
"Dr., his heart rate is racing!"
Weyland glanced at the monitor, then continued cutting the clothes away from the Vulcan's injured chest.
"That is elevated for a Vulcan, but not alarmingly so." Alex began carefully pulling shrapnel out of the injuries. He saw nurse go to pull one out and spoke sharply,
"Don't touch that one, Vulcan's have a major artery in that area, I want to be sure it hasn't been punctured before I remove that one." Weyland continued to work on the Vulcan for twenty minutes before handing a dermal regenerator to a nurse.
"Close up the wounds and give him a mild sedative, he'll be fine."
