I thought a lot about nominations this month. While Qech is consistent, fluid, and quite fun to read and Calodan is versatile and imaginative, I went with a lesser known and more recent choice simply to give recognition to a relative newcomer in the hopes of encouraging future play. I hereby nominate Cory Drake for character development and play.

Both Lt. Drake and Lt. Taarak have unique qualities and personalities and they shine through in his posts. He seems to understand the material presented, and comes up with unique responses not duplicated in his human or Orion counterparts. You can get a great sense of their flavor and that makes their interactions fun to watch. He is also a consistent player who helps stories flow and in my mind deserves special recognition this month.

I hope this doesn't make anyone else feel less appreciated. I have found our recent stories to be the best yet, and I look forward to more play with all of you.
