My wife and I have been watching the series again, currently on Season 2. Just watched "The Measure of a Man". This is one of my favorite episodes, sort of cemented my love of Data. Between rewatching this episode and Talbert's comment about the Alterran's I just might be revisiting this line of exploration.
Anyone else willing to share their favorite episodes? _________________

Tom's Top Five TNG (Two Part Episodes count as 1 unless I break them up)
The Pegasus
Measure of a Man
Chain of Command, Both Parts
Frame of Mind
The Best of Both Worlds, Part One
I personally think that BoBW is the best Trek episode ever and thus my favorite TNG episode. If I took that one out of the running I'd say Frame of Mind (the one where Riker is in a play where he's crazy and all of the sudden is in an alien mental hospital much like the play). _________________

All of the episodes the Cap'n listed are amazing. I too greatly enjoy Frame of Mind, it shows off Jonathon Frakes's skill as an actor.
Best of Both Worlds is definitely some of the very best Trek that exists. _________________

since TNG is my all time fav... I don't know that I could pin down a few episodes as my favorites!! though frame of mind is near the top of the list as I love the psych drama situations... (same sort of ep of Buffy is awesome too)
I'd actually have to go through some of the episodes just to decide which are my top choices!! _________________

It really was a tough pick for me, I almost expanded it to a top 10 list. _________________

LOVE TNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best of Both Worlds, Of Course
The Drum Head
Descent (Of course!)
The Skin of Evil - LOVE PICARD'S HANDLING OF THAT ROGUE!
The Defector - shows the lengths the Romulans can go to for their goals
Darmok - One of my personal favorites among favorites!
UNIFICATION - SPOCK, OF COURSE!
CHAIN OF COMMAND - JELLICO WAS AN A** but a good officer, still, and Patrick Stewart was really there in the acting department!
AND FINALLY: Q Who?
Sorry, but I can't exclude them....I love them all, but BoBW is the tops! _________________
