The Archer had been docked for over an hour, but it seemed like there was always another question, another decision. Finally, Osaka passed through the airlock to the station. Standing in the corridor, with her arms crossed firmly across her chest, stood his beautiful wife. Even with the tension in her limbs and worry on her face he still thought of her as beautiful. He smiled warmly, holding out his hand,
"Hi honey." Her look wasn't hard to read as she responded.
"Don't 'Hi honey' me. This 'cushy' station job is starting to sound a lot more like what I thought it would be than what you said it would be." Ando pulled her into his arms, trying to head her off before she really got going.
"It was just a little assistance, that's all. The Freika had a device stolen and we recovered it, no big deal."

"Do you know what happened while you were gone? I woke up, laying on the floor, and phasers were going off in the hallway!" Ando suddenly wished he had talked to Commander Talbert before he had met his wife.
"I'm sure there is a logical explanation for what happened..." He continued to comfort his wife as they made their way back to their quarters. Ando knew once they adjusted that they would be happy here, and he also knew that today was just a fluke. I hope today was just a fluke

Ted arrived at home shortly after he had been debriefed by Commander Talbert. But now that he was home, deep down, he was wishing he had stayed at work.

"Theodore Joseph Smith, just what the hell has been going on? I thought you said this was going to be decent shore duty!"

"Char, I've been busy. The diplomatic party we brought aboard ended up being a boarding party, that knocked everyone on the station - you included - into some sort of damned stasis! I escaped it because I was outside the station with Grant and T'Plar!"

Charolette backed down, forgetting that her husband was the NCO in charge of Station security in the GAMMA QUADRANT. It was easy sometimes, to forget how dangerous things could get - even though their quarters (thanks greatly in part to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers) looked just like their quarters back on Starbase 135
