Calm down everyone, we don't have to pick up the names right this second. I do appreciate the gestures of course. Once it gets to around that time I'll bring up the subject again. Thanks for being so supportive everyone! _________________

Well, sorry but I am a poor working stiff.....I would be a good soldier in that case, and play whatever ship is offered.
But lobbying is free.....doesn't Guardian just sing....LOL |

I will give everyone my word on this: We will not have a name that is despised. I will make sure that everyone involved at least can tolerate the name. I would rather settle on something that is "meh" for everyone rather than a name that is "FRIGGIN-A!" to most and "CRAPTASTIC" to a few. _________________

I propose that we name the ship either "USS FRIGGIN-A!" or "USS CRAPTASTIC". _________________

The Uss Friggincrap the first and last Oberon class Transwarp test bed. She came out of a transwarp bubble right in the middle of an asteroid rich in dilithium. |

Which caused the captain to scream 'HOLY FRIGGIN CRAP!" Just before the ship exploded! |

I sent out a PayPal request to those crewmen who've decided to pitch in on the donations front. Anyone else who wants to contribute, just let us know here. _________________

NOTE: If someone gets some sort of "reminder" to pay their paypal donation request, please don't be upset... I sometimes like to push buttons... oops.
In all seriousness I think I hit a reminder button even though it looked like a drop down menu. I shouldn't be allowed to touch things.

Ok then, I believe that brings the current total up to 5:
Captain Brennon
Lieutenant Calodan
Lieutenant Uvek
Lieutenant Croft
Ensign McTavish
That brings the price burden to $8.80. I think that is a manageable price. I'm canceling the old requests and resending them with the adjusted price. Thank you guys, you're all doing a great job and helping to make this an amazing game. _________________

*bobbles*
While I can't provide an authenticated Calodan Bobble-head (TM) to everyone who donates, maybe the XO can design an award based on the concept. _________________
