Personal log stardate: 54317.26

After numerous transports, delays, shuttle trips, more delays, I've finally arrived at the Hartington. I had only just transported on board when the ship had been redirected for a distress call. Instead of the expected welcoming officer I had a transporter chief who simply shrugged when I asked what was going on. I didn't feel like dragging my duffle bag to the bridge so I accessed the main computer, ascertained I did at least have quarters, and here I am *pause* I suppose I should head to the bridge *another pause* I hope I can keep on this Captains good side for at least a week.
