What do you think the most interesting time period for Star Trek is. We don't know a lot about some of these periods, but I still like what I've heard about some of the more mysterious ones. _________________

Personally I'm a little split.
As you guys know, I loved Deep Space Nine, and the Dominion War arc was a VERY big part of that show... but I also am in love with the original movies. Star Trek VI was one of my very favorites (I love the uniforms from that era!). Then again... I also like reading the Lost Era books, it tells us some of the story that fills in the blanks between Star Trek VI and the start of TNG... I think that in the end I'm going to have to go with The Next Generation Era though... it is the basis for all of the modern Star Trek series. It's a very tough call though... very close for me. _________________

I would have voted TOS but lets face it, The Enterprise is the only ship to have survived the 5 year mission. So if your not on the Enterprise, sooner of later your toast lol.
So i voted Original Movies. Klingons are still bad. Romulans are out there waiting to pounce. The Triangle is a hot bed of intrigue. |

I voted for the Dominion War. I know for a lot of fans, this story arc/time frame was a breath of fresh air into the franchise. It gave us a new look at Starfleet and the Federation. It was nice to see them knocked on their heels a bit and to see that humans were still vulnerable in the 24th century. Seeing the Federation and Starfleet, which to this point in recent memory had been shiny ships and vast power, as the underdogs was a nice change of pace (even though we knew they were going to win). _________________

I love TNG, of course, but I really love the movies...especially Khan and the Undiscovered Country.
Great works for me, and the formulators of everything trek in my mind. |

I was split three way myself, I voted Dominion war because I had to pick one, but TNG really cemented my love for the series, I had watched a fair bit of the original but I fell in love with the Enterprize D. I just like all the different types of ships for Pre Nemesis so that has a place in my heart as well. _________________
