As you all are aware, we've recently opened Secondary Characters for our current users. There has been some confusion on how this will work so I'm going to take a moment and lay out the ground rules to you.
No matter how many characters you have on Task Force Gamma, you will only ever have one account. One character or ten, you get one account. The user name for this account will be that of your primary (first) character. You will identify your current characters in your signature. We are currently working on drafting some badges that will give name, rank and assignment for each character that will go into each sig area.
When posting, you will identify your character by a quick notation at the top of the post. It would look something like this:
Character: Captain David Brennon
Location: Bridge, USS Hartington
Stardate: 53772.5
If you change characters in mid post, you will separate the two characters by using the same heading, almost like a post within a post.
I hope this clears up any confusion. Please post any questions to this topic. _________________

No problem!
Just remember to apply the character on www.usshartington.com to have him/her added to the official roster. _________________

We'll be making them for each and every member of the crew for each and every character played. This is one of the reasons it is very important for you to 1) list your character on your signature and 2) to have your character listed on the crew manifest at the website! _________________

There be a problem with the current plan there Cap'n.
If a forum user changes their sig, I.E. to post as a different char, it is changed for ALL posts by that user, not just the most current one. _________________

My mistake, I should have clarified myself.
Each character banner will be in the sig. at the top of the post mention which of your approved characters you are portraying in that particular post.
I can see why you too me to mean changing the sig for each and every character post... oops, my bad. _________________

Well I got it half right, I applied on the Web page hehehe so I take it the forum account will be denied? Cool I was wondering about the titles, I also noticed that there is a set of locked forums for the Academy, looks like we are growing quite well! _________________

Here is another decree, this time from our Graphics Chief.
When you create another character and it is approved for play by your Commanding Officer, please send a PM to Username: Davynn Qech with the following information to receive your new Signature Badge:
Character Rank (Captain)
Character Name (David Brennon)
Character Position (Commanding Officer)
Character Department (Command)
Character Ship (USS Hartington) _________________
