Stardate 38191.48 (ref: 2361, spring):
Uvek finished planting the charge. He felt a wave of excitement sweep over him as the completion of a 3 week mission loomed into sight. For those 3 weeks he had lain in a stinking cellar, just outside the main conference hall of Babel, near the Andorian communications center, listening to calls from the Andorian delegations. He had selected the room because it was adjacent to the older meeting hall, no longer used by those coming to talk.
Now his mission changed. The Romulans were convinced that they were going to be locked out of an upcoming conference with the Klingons. Worlds both captured and lost during the war just 10 years prior were going to be discussed. To the Romulan senate, the war was yesterday and their bloodied memories were enflamed at the thought of the Klingons getting any concessions from the Federation.
Besides that, a secret military delegation was working to convince the Senate to re-enter the galaxy's affairs. Allowing the Klingons to attend the conference without their delegation would only strengthen Klingon positions when the time came.
Hence, the mission. It was Uvek's first "extraterrestrial" work since being inducted into the Tal Shiar. He had been made an agent focused on penetrating the Federation. What better place than Babel, a planetoid used by the founding members, maintained in a small, relatively obscure section of Telleran space? And what better way to slow progress than to damage the main communications array? Now it was proving time.
He planted the small, suitcase sized, fusion bomb at the base of the Andorian communication tower. It was late, or early, depending on how you see it, and very few people were about. It was now or never. The weapon had been delivered that very night, beamed in during a routine changing of shifts, a time when there was less chance of the energy beam being detected. As hoped, it worked like a dream. The bomb was rigged with a detonator that would activate with the tower's main power supply on the morning watch. Now it was time to leave.
Uvek slid back down to the ground at the base of the tower, made his way across the compound, and over to the predestined coordinates. His hidden communicator was there, stashed in case he was captured, and he activated the secure channel.
"Uvek to SunHawk," he whispered, "we are ready, one to transport." A green light surrounded him, and he was taken aboard the cruiser, cloaked in orbit over Babel.
Three hours later, the morning team arrived. There was a usual exchange of greetings, a status report, and the new team took their stations. Yel'tan activated the main control panel, switched on the energy guides, and watched the screens light up. It was the last thing he ever did. The transmission activated the detonator on the fusion bomb and it exploded. The shockwave not only collapsed the antenna, but destroyed the room below, killing a dozen Andorians and wounding everyone left in the comm station. It would be days, perhaps weeks before they could completely rebuild or replace the systems. Mission accomplished.

I know that this seems a bit bloody. But, this is who Uvek Suran was...a dedicated spy for the Romulan Empire who fnow eels betrayed and defects to the Federation.
If you see this as over the top, bring that into the game, tho you may not know his history (classified), there may be rumors, or VRASSOC might even leak some details to the crew, just to turn them against this "traitor." JUST SAYING.....
