Her outward appearance gave no sign of her inward cringe at the loud reprimand. She kept her composure as her anger welled and she had to physically bite her tongue to keep from cursing aloud. Her smart-mouthing is part of what had gotten her transfered from her last post.

"Aye Sir" she said through clenched teeth and made to help the others with loading and pre-flight, but seemed just that much to late. As she helped load up the last of needed supplies, she heard Talbert speak

"All right chief. We'll be arriving at the coordinates momentarily. Let 'em know we're ready to go!"

With a deep breath and a mental note to yell at her mother the first chance she got... she took her station in the shuttle and prepared for the second away team mission she'd partake in.

perhaps this time I can manage to do something right... she thought to herself.

OOC 0110 was and may still be Chief Engineer, we are waiting for a decision to be made, we'll know in the next day or so.

Chief Roe

Roe typed a few more commands at his console, "Pre-flight checks complete, Lt. Harper, will you take the helm, you are the highest rated pilot on this mission."

Harper jumped to the helm, "Yes sir! Tigris to bridge ready for departure."

Bridge

Lieutenant Thomas took the response from the shuttlebay. "Captain, Tigris reports ready for departure."

Marek shifts in his seat slightly,
"Acknowledged. Ensign Fontaine, what is our ETA?"

Fontaine stammers for a moment, "Ah, it's.. Ah, 3 minutes sir." He turns a very bright shade of red.

Marek smiles at the thought of what Talbert would say to that response. He taps his console briefly, "Lt. Thomas, as soon as we drop out of warp notify the Tigris to depart."

OOC will give it a minute can't post for a bit.

Fontaine clears his throat, "Captain, we have arrived at the coordinates."

Marek stands, "All stop, Ensign. Lt. Thomas, clear the Tigris for departure."

"Bridge to Tigris, you are cleared for departure. Safe hunting."

OOC sorry for the delay, life happens sometimes.

Lenara was pleased with the progress they had made. The ship was still in excellent condition, all secondary and nearly all primary systems were now functioning, sans propulsion, which wouldn't be much of a test tied to the ship like it is. Lenara smiled at Kuplo, "Excellent work Ensign Meh... humans seem to alter your designations...your name. What should I call you in an official capacity? Or a more personal situation? I am curious..."

OOC Edit for continuity, forgot briefly that Kuplo was not human oops

Lenara nods, "I understand, since we are currently in a formal setting I will continue to call you Ensign Mehvra-Kuplo." She looks away for a moment, then continues, "It will still be six hours twenty-two minutes and twelve seconds before my translation program is complete, would you like to 'take a break'? Or perhaps we can begin work on my regeneration node, what your report referred to as an 'alcove like device'?"

Thomas ran a sensor sweep, looking for the ship in distress. "Captain, the Tal'Harton vessel is fleeing on heading 215, two ships are pursuing, they appear to be Nekrali raiders."

Marek looked to Fontaine, "Mr. Fontaine, pursuit course, full impulse. Mr. Roekil, raise shields, arm phasers."

Thomas brings up the sensor data. "Captain, we are closing on the Nekrali raiders, weapons range in ten seconds. The Tal'Harton vessel appears to have lost propulsion."

Marek, who had been standing since they arrived, sits in the command chair. "Commander Roekil, as soon as we are in weapons range, fire on the Nekrali. Target their weapons."
