Well, with regard to the CMO, if no one applies, I think I'll use 921. We haven't seen that hologram much, and I think the Regent could rig up a system from the alterran technology to give him free reign of the station.....a kind of take off from Voyager.

It might be a lot of fun to have a cynical hologram....maybe even investigate the possibility of I robot kind of love....hmmmm? Razz

Ok,

My wife is ok joining. She is upset that she doesn't type so well, but we'll work together on that, I promise that she will run her character (Ensign Lillian Rayle from Earth), and the character creation, reactions and storyline will be hers.

We'll be working together on the application over the weekend...we have a function tonight and tomorrow I'll be helping display a Corvette we are raffling off for the Lions club, then we will be in PA Sat - Sun night.

Ensign Rayle will arrive with the fleet.

HI - I WANT TO THANK CAPTAIN BRENNON FOR RELEASING THE CHARACTER STORIES ON DS-27!

If you have a new character please feel free to start a story and let us get to know them a bit. My wife Dana will be posting a backstory for Ensign Rayle, we are in process of working it out together, and I urge you to join in and let us get a sense of who you are going to be.....

Just remember that NO APPOINTMENTS have been made yet so, aside from Rayle and Osaka or anyone coming with the fleet, no one should know they are being assigned. As those two are coming in from the Alpha quadrant, they are already enroute.

Well, you don't know about the promotion yet, but you could conceivably have her join you on the Guardian, that is common on deepspace missions, I'm sure.

NO harm as long as we don't reveal our Station parameters. It's always important to hold to character integrity whenever we can.....

I haven't made the post yet, but when I post Osaka's secondary story line, he doesn't even know the full extent of his assignment, just that he will get briefed when he arrives at DS9...

Thought I would share what exactly I posted...

Task Force Gamma is now recruiting!

Do you love Star Trek, love to write, love scifi, or all of the above? Then Task Force Gamma is for you!

Task Force Gamma is set just after the Dominion War, as Starfleet begins deep exploration of the Gamma Quadrant. We currently have plans for simms from other Era's including Enterprise and TOS, with the possibility of a JJ Abrams era simm down the road.

We currently have two ships with active simms going, and a station/ship simm ready to launch.
The Task Force is led by the USS Hartington, an Ambassador class starship Captained by David Brennon.
The second vessel in the fleet is the USS Guardian, an Excelsior class starship Captained by Marek.
We are currently in the final stages of launching the first Federation station in the Gamma Quadrant, DS27, and it's ship, the USS Archer, Hannibal class.

We have a multitude of positions available, from Petty officer up through Lieutenant to start, with many opportunities for advancement. Just a few positions available
Chief Medical Officer
Chief Engineer
Junior officers in all sections, Medical, Engineering, Security/Tactical, Flight Ops, Command

We are open to almost all races in the series, although we have some limitations for storyline sakes, but if you can back up your idea with a good story and plausible explanation then exceptions can be made.

Seeing as she is a very new player, I personally suggest she start at the rank of Ensign. This is not a slight in any way towards her, but rather a way for her to give herself room to grow and learn with her character. It's also just a suggestion, as I am neither the CO or XO of the Sim... I lend to you my voice of reason and experience.

As for the launch date for the game, let me finish up this current Hartington story that way we can have a sort of crossover event.

Dana doesn't object to that, and I was just concerned over the timeline; 6 years is a long time to be an ensign...but anyway...this is about the simms and about player fairness and character development..We want to do whatever is best and fair for the game.
