MAJ Ludwigsen's office, located ajacent to the Armory and Marine Ops, is a small compartment with a number of pipes and an auxillary EPS junction protruding near ceiling-level. A large multi-function display- obviously added during the last refit- covers the far wall. Several reproductions of ancient, pre-spaceflight propaganda posters from various Armed Forces hang on the walls, along with a number of the Major's mementos- a large seal from the Defiant Develpment project, a framed Marine officer's comission, a Starfleet diploma, an old-model "combat" phaser, and a tattered battle-flag from the Third World War. The desk is littered with PADDs, and a large coffee mug with the Fleet Marine stars-and-anchor logo sits on the corner.

The Major has an open-door policy, but make sure you're using your chain of command- or Gunny'll have your ass!

Gunnery Sergeant Wu steps into Ludwigsen's Office and salutes. Once given leave to stand at ease he extends a ruggedized PADD to his superior.

"Major, I have the new Medic here to see you, sir."

Mikal follows the Gunnery Sergant promptly into the Maj office and salutes the Maj.
"Medic Recruit Trimbo reporting for duty sir. What would you like me to do first?"

The Major sizes up the new medic. About time. The Field EMH is starting to get on my nerves. While portable and fairly effective, the backpack-sized mobile EMH projector issued to Fleet Marine detatchments posessed a number of irritating quirks- chief among them being its MK.1 base programming. He gestures to one of the small office's chairs.

"At ease. Have a seat, Recruit."

Calling up the new Marine's file, he scans the results of his last evaluation. Not bad...

"Good to have you aboard. Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?"

Mikal walked to the seat across from the Maj. he waited patiently while the Maj read over hes starfleet service record

"Well sir this will be my first long term deployment. Well the reason i joined the marines was to give my self a career option and to be able to support my five year old daughter maddlyn. but otherwise i have always had a soft spot in my heart for the marines.. I fell in love with them since i was a little kid always watching the history shows about them and the movies about them. So i guess it was time that i follow what i want and be able to provide for my daughter. As my recored states i have recently graudated from medic tranning but i also have somes experience in my home town i would go on duty with the police their but that was always off the recored as i was not being payed.
